The contest goes like this...The member who recruits the most members into the guild between today and Sept. 15 wins a VERY special prize. All members are able to participate. Just send Clamente a letter in-game with the name or names of the players you were able to get into the guild. If there is a tie, we will raffle off the prize for the tie breaker.
Commotion is only about ten days old and we have already exceeded 50 members. The goal is to reach 100 members in less than two weeks. In order to reach this goal, we need every member to assist in recruiting friends or strangers through "General" or "Trade" chat. A common recruit spam chat I use is something like, "Are you looking for a great guild that will actually get you into the dungeons? Commotion is the guild for you. All levels welcome. Pst for info or invite. Love to have YOU!" By simply taking a few minutes out of your game once in a while will dramatically increase our guild size. Imagine if every member recruited one member. We would double in size very quickly.
It is essential that we get our membership to 100 as soon as possible. Creating a successful guild takes a lot of hard work and effort. I can assure our membership that your leaders are working very hard. But it takes the members to assist in recruiting to be truly successful. Guilds are most vulnerable to collapse in their early stages due to lack of members. If the guild is unable to steadily increase in membership, current members become frustrated because of lack of guild events and dungeon runs and move on to other guilds. I am confident that this guild can be the best guild in the game, but it takes involvement from all members. Make this guild YOUR guild and participate in making it a success. Let's have fun together and share the fun with others.
